How To Evolve Your Yo-kai and All Yo-kai Evolutions
Yo-kai Watch shares many similarities with Nintendo’s very own Pokemon series. Both allow players to befriend and battle mythical creatures. Drawing more comparison is that a number of Yo-kai can evolve into stronger beings much like Pocket monsters.
Evolutions in Yo-kai Watch work similar to Pokemon. Once a certain Yo-kai hits a particular level, they are able to evolve into a stronger form. However, in Yo-kai you are given the opportunity to select whether to evolve the Yo-kai or not.
Furthermore, based on first impression the higher level required for a Yo-kai to evolve the stronger its final evolution it will be.
Based on experience, in most cases, it is better to evolve the Yo-kai than to not. The evolved Yo-kai will have greater stats and just overall better in all departments, so there is no reason to not evolve your respective Yo-kai.
This article details the full list of Y0-kai that can evolve into another form and what levels that is needed to evolve. So far there are 13 Yo-kai’s that have been confirmed to be able to transform. When more have been discovered, I will gladly update the article.
