On its opening weekend, Super Smash Bros. For Wii U has sold 490, 000 – making the illustrious fighter the fastest selling Wii U title yet, beating the giant Mario Kart.

In addition to this, Nintendo has revealed that series has reached 14 million units sold in the US and is currently one of the highest rated original new generation games.
