Splatoon Weapon’s Guide

Welcome to Nintendo News Fix Splatoon Weapons guide. In this guide we go through in detail all the weapons in Splatoon and how to unlock them.

Splatoon is an unique take on the shooter genre. In an over saturated marketplace where shooters predominately feature realistic guns, bullets and headshots, Splatoon delivers an unique take completely glittery foregoing violence for colorful ink warfare.

Splatoon weapon system functions a little different from your Call of Duty’s or Battlefield. You cannot customize your core load-out. Instead Splatoon uses weapon sets. In each set there is a main weapon, a sub weapon and a special weapon. The sets are predetermined and you cannot mix and match combinations between the 3 types of weapon. Well this does sound disappointing, but the reasoning is purely down to balancing purposes.
