A new map will be included into Splatoon rotation tomorrow, Nintendo has announced. The new map is called Camp Triggerfish, which is likely inspired by the summer camps venues that kids go during the North American.
The map will have players skirmish in a battlefield riddled with a number of bridges and floodgates. Players should be mindful that there poor inkling can fall into oblivion if you veer off into the water.
“Pack your knapsack because we’re going to camp. Camp Triggerfish, that is! When the Inklings aren’t busy making s’mores or boondoggle key chains, they enjoy the majestic scenery afforded by camping the best way they know how – Turf War! Battles here play out across a series of bridges, which you’ll have to cross to reach your opponents’ turf.”
Each team will have a set of floodgates in there territory, which will periodically and systematically lower with one minute left in the clock. With the floodgates lowered, teams can make a late game rush into the enemies territory.
Camp Triggerfish will be available onwards from 7pm PT.
