Nintendo of Japan has shared a new commercial for Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS targeted for the Japanese market.
The commercial aims to promote the inclusion of the highly popular character – Ryu from the Street fighter series – in the fighting roster of Super Smash Bros. For Wii U and 3DS.
Ryu was made available for Super Smash Bros as additional downloadable content on June 14, and was accompanied by the veterans Roy and Lucas.
Ryu is a unique character, unlike anything that the series has seen. He largely resembles his Street Fighter counterpart with different attacks depending on directional inputs and how long you hold buttons. Ryu is also the first character in Super Smash Bros. to have two unique final Smashes. Ryu is accompanied by Suzaku Castle stage.
You can purchase Ryu at the Nintendo eShop in either as a DLC pack, stage pack or individually. The same can be said for Lucas and Roy. For full details on the latest content inclusions for Super Smash Bros you can click here.
