E3 2015 is almost upon us and I’m sure many are eagerly awaiting what Nintendo has to announce during their Digital Event. Normally around this time we will have rumor popping up daily regarding possible announcements, and it appears this year is no different.
A rumor has emerged supposedly leaking all the announcements that will be made at Nintendo’s Digital event. The person has claimed that the information comes from a friend that works at Nintendo of America and has sent the following information by an email.
The wall of text is quite substantial and it reads more like a wishlist than a realistic presentation. Still, there are some exciting announcements at Nintendo Digital Event, if the rumors turns out to be legitimate.
Here is the full sequence of supposed announcement that are to be made at Nintendo’s Digital event:
- Starfox: Supercharged
- Dual Gamepad Support for the Wii U
- Golden Sun: Secrets of the Ancient Temple for 3DS
- Animal Crossing: World Explorers for Wii U
- Pokken Tournament Trailer
- Paper Mario (Working Title) for Wii U
- Bayonetta 2 DLC
- New Trailer for Devil’s Third
- Mario Maker Trailer
- Super Mario 3D Land Trailer for 3DS
- Super Mario Sunshine HD Trailer
- DK: Curse of the Jungle for 3DS
- Mario Kart DLC
- Super Smash Bros DLC
- Wii Sports:Holiday Island for Wii U
- Excite Truck for Wii U
- Metroid Prime 4 for Wii U
I, for one, believe it is fake. For starters, never has the Digital Event or a Nintendo Direct have been leaked correctly. Secondly, the volume of announcements seem to be too packed for a Digital Event. Moreover, there are some key games that are missing like Xenoblade Chronicles X, Fatal Frame V and Shin Megami X Fire Emblem. And lastly, it seems too good to be true.
I find it particularly fun in indulging ourselves in some juicy speculations as it builds up excitement for E3, but please keep your expectations in check.
Nintendo’s Digital Event will air on June 16.
