The talk of the town in the Nintendo community is about the NX, the next generation console from the Big N. While Nintendo has repeatedly said that they will not reveal anything of substance about the NX, that doesn’t necessarily mean that supposed leaks will stop from happen.
According to a report Fortune Magazine, Nintendo has already begun talks with third party partners about the NX. Moreover, the discussion and reception about Nintendo’s next endeavor from third positive partners has been positive according to the supposed insider.
“The problem for Nintendo is the NX’s launch is at least a year away—likely more, as the company reportedly just started talking about it with third party partners at this year’s E3. (The reception, say insiders, was positive,” Fortune magazine reports.
Nintendo has been long criticized for the lack of Third Party support for their consoles, in particular their home console business. Drawing in and securing support for the NX will go a long way to build up an appealing library for the console and help fill the voids when there are first party droughts.
