Ninendo Apologizes For Splatoon Shortages In Japan

Splatoon continues to exceed expectations. Nintendo of Japan has issued an apology for the scarceness of Splatoon copies in stores across Japan. It appears that the Big N has seriously underestimated the demand for the title and has promised that a new shipment will arrive next week.

Moreover, the Splatoon Amiibo are unsurprisingly in short supply and will likely be sold out in a matter of moments. As a short remedy to the problem, Nintendo has encouraged that Wii U owners desperate to play Splatoon to purchase the title on Nintendo eShop.

Nintendo apologize is as follows, which I have kindly summarized in english above:

Splatoon is a third person online multiplayer shooter for the Nintendo Wii U. It will shortly be released in all major markets in a matter of hours.
