A new trailer for the highly anticipated survival-horror game, Fatal Frame: The Black Haired Shrine, has emerged. Almost certain to frighten the most hardened Wii U fan, well… personally speaking – the new trailer takes cues from traditional Japanese horror filmography – which incorporates a more dramatic approach to excite fans for the titles.
Unfortunately, I am not fluent in Japanese – so I cannot provide an accurate account of what is being said and what is actually happening in the trailer, Despite this, the title has definitely piqued my interest, particularly the lore and the horror elements within the game.
In Fatal Frame Wii U, you play as protagonist as 3 protagonist – Yuri Kozukata, Miu Hinasaki and Ren Hojo – as they explore the haunted mountains for their own individual reasons. The title promises to use the Wii U GamePad in clever and intuitive ways.
Fatal Frame: The Black Haired Shrine is being co-developed by Koei Tecmo and Nintendo and will be hitting store in Japan on September 27. Nintendo has not announced plans to release the title overseas.
