Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Surpasses 1 Million Shipments In Europe And North America

Capcom has proudly announced that the recently released 3DS title – Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate – has surpassed one million shipments in North America and Europe. These shipment numbers include retail and Nintendo eShop download sales.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is the first title in the franchise to surpass the one million shipment milestone in North America, which indicates a growth in popularity for the franchise in the western markets.

“In Europe and North America, the successful launch of this new title coincided with the introduction of the New Nintendo 3DS™, which resulted in “Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate” becoming the first title in the series to reach shipments of one million units in Europe and North America,” Capcom wrote in a press release.

The mainline monster hunter games have so far remained exclusive to the 3DS family hardware line and with strong marketing support from the Big N, this will likely remain the case for the future.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is already in store shelves. For the latest updates on Monster Hunter or everything 3DS, stay tuned at Nintendo News Fix.
