Mewtwo Will Join The Battle In Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS

During today’s Super Smash Bros. Live-stream extravaganza, Nintendo announced that the legendary Pokemon – Mewtwo – will be joining the battle in Super Smash Bros. For Wii U and 3DS.

Mewtwo will be available as a free downloadable character for players who have purchased both Super Smash Bros. For 3DS and Super Smash Bros. For Wii U.

However, unfortunately, Mewtwo isn’t quite ready yet and will require a few months to get the balancing perfect. So as a result Metwo will be available sometime during spring of 2015.

It is important to note that Nintendo has not ruled out the possibility that Mewtwo will be available for purchase. So I wouldn’t run out to stores to buy both versions to get Mewtwo, especially if you had not intentions to double dip.

Super Smash Bros For Wii U will launch on November 21 in North America. In Europe, Japan and Australia the game will be hitting stores on December 5/6 respectively.
