The latest issue of the hugely popular Japanese publication, Coro Coro, has revealed a great deal of information on the highly anticipated title, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The biggest news coming out from the issue is the announcement of two new mega evolved: Mega Pidgeot and Mega Beedrill.
Mega Pidgeot is a Flying and Electric type Pokemon with the ability No Guard. No Guard allows all your move to hit the opponent and vice-versa. For your reference Pidgeot’s normal form is a Normal and Flying type Pokemon with the ability Keen Eye.
Meanwhile, Mega Beedrill is blessed with a new type, now a Bug and Poison type Pokemon and has the ability Adaptability. The ability Adaptability increases the power up move of the same type.
Serebii reports that Legendary Pokemon and Pokemon from other generations can be found on islands that can only be accessed through the Sky. To access the Sky, you will need to capture Mega Latios or Mega Latias.
Furthermore, Neon Tickets will be make a return, which will be distributed by a future special event.
Mega Pidgeot and Mega Beedrill join an extensive list of new Mega Evolved Pokemon including Mega Slowbro, Mega Salamence, Mega Audino and many more.
Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be hitting stores in North America, Japan and Australia on November 21. As for Europe, the title will be released a week later on November 28.
