Hyrule Warriors Legend was one of the more pleasant announcements during E3 2015, despite being leaked a few days earlier. Koei Tecmo will be bringing the Hyrule Warriors experience from the Wii U into our pockets with Hyrule Warriors Legends ( known as Hyrule Warriors: All Stars in Japan).
Hyrule Warriors Legend will not be a simple straight port of the Wii U version; it will indeed include all the DLC packs and two new characters: King of Red Lions and Tetra. Prospective buyers or previous owners may have more to look forward to in Hyrule Warriors, with the producers confirming that more characters will be included in the playable roster.
“I can’t go into details yet, but we plan to add new character(s) [can mean one or several] other than Tetra and King of Hyrule. There are fan favorites and surprising characters in the game, so I’d be happy if you kept guessing who will join the fight while waiting for follow-up information,” Yosuke Hayashi told Famitsu.
It would be interesting to see what other characters from the Zelda universe will be included into the playable rooster of Hyrule Warriors Legend. Perhaps Groose? Or maybe the Skull Kid? Let me know your picks!
Hyrule Warriors Legend is scheduled for release on the Nintendo 3DS in 2016.
