Ghosts Plague Smash Run In Super Smash Bros. For 3DS

Despite Super Smash Bros. For 3DS already launching in Japan, director of Smash Bros, Masahiro Sakurai, will continue his daily “Pic of the day” rituals on Miiverse. Today, Mr. Sakurai has shared a few pointers on how to deal with the Ghost-type enemies in Smash Run. Super Smash Bros For 3ds ghastly ghost

To start things off, the Pokemon Ghastly cannot be hurt with his normal attacks and can only be hit by items. Sakurai suggests that using a grab will work against the ghoulish fiends. “When you see a Ghost, make sure you use your grab. If you’re playing with Diddy Kong, his Monkey Flip should work, too.” Sakurai wrote on Miiverse.

Furthermore, some ghosts type enemies might carry a reflector, so be sure to implement the right strategy when with these types of enemies. “These two are a haunting pair. You can only attack Gastly using items, but the Ghost has a perfect guard and reflects your attacks.”

In addition to that, Sakurai has announced that the “Pic of the Day” posts on Miiverse will continue until the release of Super Smash Bros. For Wii U. However, no new information will be shared in the posts from now on, but rather he will focus on entertaining followers. While all good things have to eventually end, I am glad that they are not ending abruptly.

Super Smash Bros. For 3DS will launch in Europe and North America on October 4. For the latest updates on the title stay tuned at Nintendo News Fix.
