Dragon Quest XI Announced For 3DS And Possibly NX

A new entry in the famed franchise – Dragon Quest – has been announced for the Nintendo 3DS, publisher Square Enix has announced.

Dragon Quest XI has been announced for the Nintendo 3DS and for the PlayStation 4. The game will feature the same classic JRPG gameplay that the series is known for.

The 3DS and PlayStation 4 versions will have the same story, but there will be some mechanical differences and the obvious difference in aesthetics.

Square is employing the service of Toy logic, whom, if I remember correctly, assisted the development of Super Smash Bros. For 3DS.

Square Enix is also stated the possibility of Dragon Quest XI making its way to Nintendo’s NX platform, which at the moment has not been officially unveiled.

Dragon Quest XI does not have a release window or word on whether the game will be released outside of Japan. If any further developments emerges we will be sure to let you know.
