Update: European release is October 16.
Bandai Namco has confirmed that the 2D brawler – Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden – will be arriving to North America and Europe.
There was conjecture that Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden was indeed coming to western shores when the Australian Classification Board rated the title for the Nintendo 3DS. It is a relief that the the title has now been confirmed.
Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden will be hitting North American store shelves on October 20. “Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden is coming to the Nintendo 3DS on Oct 20th in the Americas,” Bandai Namco announced on their official twitter.
As for Europe and Australia/New Zealand, Bandai Namco has yet to announce the release date for these regions, but it should around the same time as the North American release. We will update the story when more information emerges.
Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden is a 2D fighter featuring dozens of characters from the Dragon Ball universe. The game features an assist mechanic similar to the Marvel Vs Capcom and Tekken Tag series.
