Blast Ball Announced For The Nintendo 3DS

A new IP title – Blast Ball – has been announced for the Nintendo 3DS. The title was announced during today’s Nintendo World Championship and will be a team based first-person for the Nintendo 3DS.

Blast Ball can be described as a first person shooter equivalent to a soccer game. Teams are required to work together to shoot a large ball into the opposing teams goal, while simultaneously defending.

The game, aesthetically and gameplay wise, is strangely similar to Metroid Prime games but with the obvious difference being the competitive multiplayer.

At the moment a release date or distribution modeling has yet to be detailed by Nintendo. As more information emerges we will be sure to have it covered.
