It is a well known fact that Animal Crossing is a hugely popular series globally, but its popularity in Japan is someone extraordinary. The latest entry in the series, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is set to storm Japan in a number of weeks. Nintendo of Japan has revealed the expected first shipment number of Happy Home Designer in Japan to warn consumers of the potential massive demand for the title.
Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is set to have a combined first shipment total of 500,000. It is important to note that this includes all SKU, which are the normal edition, the bundle including the NFC reader and the New 3DS Bundle.
Nintendo has also noted that the Amiibo cards will only be included in the first shipments. Shipments thereafter will not include the cards and will have to be purchased separately.
AC: Happy Home Designer is a spin-off title that has a strong focus on designing homes for a number of Villagers. The title is also compatible with collectible Amiibo cards.
Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is set to hit Japanese store shelves on July 30. It will arrive in North America on September 25 and in Europe on October 2.
