Activision on Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 – “Stay Tuned For More Wii U Releases”

The internet has been rife with discussions and rumors on whether Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be released on the Nintendo Wii U. The conjecture all started with the official COD site allowing Nintendo ID’s to be linked with a Call of Duty profile.

To clear up the situation a fan took to twitter asking Activision Support for clarification about linking Nintendo ID’s and whether there are Call of Duty games being developed for the Wii U.

Surprisingly Activision Support responded with an answer that may delight fans hoping for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. In response to the question, Activision Support said “Hey there. Stay tuned for more Wii U releases.”

Though not an outright confirmation, it is enough to encourage optimism that perhaps Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 may be coming to the Wii U this year. Only time will tell!
